The 23rd International Conference on Fracture and Damage Mechanics (FDM 2026) will take place in Bilbao, Spain, from 21–23 September 2026. The FDM conference series enjoys strong support from leading experts in fracture mechanics, damage mechanics, and structural health monitoring, and has become firmly established as a premier international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest research advances in these fields. The high-quality contributions presented at previous conferences have been widely disseminated through peer-reviewed conference proceedings and special issues of leading journals, including Engineering Fracture Mechanics and the International Journal of Multiscale Modelling.
